4-member rookie group B2Y revealed their special affinity with super group SS501 Kim Hyun Joong.
Leader of B2Y, Han Yeon (real name An Soon Yong) relationship with Kim Hyun Joong is just like sworn brothers. They spent their trainee days together from 2001 to 2002 and inspiring dreams of become a star.
Han Yeon was known for his outstanding dance abilities since his middle school days and had received offers from various artiste management companies. Finally, he successfully went through an audition with Kim Hyun Joong in one company, and prepared to debut as a 5-member group together. Han Yeon was the group leader then, and Kim Hyun Joong was the magnae.
The team that Han Yeon and Kim Hyun Joong belonged to was dissolved later, and Kim Hyun Joong debut before him as SS501, Han Yeon continued on as a trainee. However, Han Yeon and Kim Hyun Joong friendship remains unchanged and gave encouragements to each other.
Han Yeon displayed his strong will, saying “We dreamt of going up on stage to sing and dance together during our trainee days, now that dream has finally come true. I wish to get into friendly rivalry with Kim Hyun Joong.”
B2Y will officially debut on 20-Aug with a single album ‘Na! Won! Cham’

Thank you XiaoChu for sharing this new piece of info in Quainte. Now we know more about leader's past. Hee.... can't imagine leader being magnae. Imaging leader acting cute and pouting...... Ok.... all my hair is standing up..... hahaha..... I think I still prefer the 4D leader. :D
