In the Musical New Talent section, singer Park JungMin (SS501) in musical ‘Grease’ won the 1st place followed by YeSung (Super Junior) in ‘NamHanSanSung’.

According to Martzzang website released on 31 December 2009, the result shown that the most popular male group is SS501, whereas the female group is SNSD who had top in major chart this year.

SS501 won in the competition against Big Bang, DBSK and 2PM. During the final qualifying round, SS501 beat Big Bang and won the 'Most popular Male Group' award. The final top 4 competition were very tense, and the final qualifying round was started from 9am, 29 December. Finally, SS501 won and was crowned as Korea 'Most popular Male Group'.

This result also shown that the fan base support competition were very strong among male idol group. SS501 who won in the competition, are not only popular but has received the recognition from all of the strong contenders, of course, from now on, they will receive even more attention, their future performance will be even more important and could not be overlooked.

Same as SS501, SNSD who receiving great responses from their single 'GEE', also dominate in the female idol group, they not only are the frequent winner of the year end major music prize, but totally deserved to won the name of the most popular female group.

Just came back from the award ceremony, it was super touching!!
5 of them reached the location around 9.30pm, wearing black tuxedo, super charming!
After they arrive, they went back stage to have interview with the media.
Around 10.30pm, Hyun Joong was first awarded 'Taiwan region Top Buzz Korean Artist' and 'Korea Region Top Buzz Korean Artist', after that SS501 received the award together for 'Asia Top Buzz Group' award. The location was full of shouts and all TS stood forward, the location became in a hysteria state. [But the MC said wrongly S-S-501, should be double S 501 then correct ah.]

The last prize was for Hyun Joong - Asia Top Buzz Male Artist ^^
Hyun was smile so happily tonight.... He had been memorizing a part of English greeting behind stage....
When he gave his thank you speech, the whole location was full of screamings, so touching!!

Finally all artists came out together to take group photographs and toast....
My feelings were so excited now, even my voice were gone...hee...

Korea Flower Boy Group 'SS501' popularity is increasing. Their new album 'Rebirth' top in Korea 'Mnet' Music website for 4 weeks. When released in Taiwan, within 20 days, it was sold for 20,000 copies, and was top in 9 different charts in G-Music, 5 Music. Within 20days, they had earn around NT8750,000 (~USD271,942).

SS501 first arrived at Taiwan in June this year and released their 1st album. They have currently released a total of 7 Korean Music album in Taiwan, total sales exceeded 100,000 copies, earning around NT33,750,000 (~USD1,048,920). I am glad that he won the award. He missed the SDA award ceremony, so this round he will be able to receive the award personally for his 1st drama. It is fun looking at our 4D leader being all nervous when receiving awards and giving speech. ^^

P/S: Just saw in doubleS501.com, the total overall votes for KDF are 167376 votes. Leader has a total 92,339 votes! Wow!
