[Info] SS501's concert location - Saitama Super Arena

Remember that I blog about the SS501's concert in Saitama Super Arena, although it was reported that the concert will be opened to 10,000 fans who apply the card, but in actual fact, Saitama Super Arena has a maximum capacity of 37,000! I wonder at the end of the day, would they open the concert to more fans? If it is, then I guess SS501 will be happy that they are able to open a concert with such a huge crowd! From what I have read from the list in wiki, seems like SS501 is the first Korean singers/group to hold their concert in Saitama Super Arena.

25 April, it is very closed to the release date for '501 Days'. I wonder would they perform songs from the new album? Waiting in full anticipation for this concert, however, due to copyright law, most of the Japan activities, we see less fancams and photographs. I hope someone will share the photographs and fancam for this.

Japan Launches Hallyu Fan Credit Card for Hallyu Fans

Japan will be launching Hallyu credit card for Hallyu fans.

The annextele corporation held a media event at a certain hotel in Seoul on 10th March. At the press conference, it was revealed that they would be collaborating with Yahoo Japan to launch the Hallyu Fan Card which targets at the Japanese market.

The Hallyu Fan Card is a credit card that is specially targeted at Yahoo Japan users and Hallyu fans. Holders of this Fan Card will be able to participate, free of charge, in all the Hallyu activities that will be held both in Japan and Korea. Targeting only at Japanese nationals, the annual membership fee is only 26,000 yen, and that will entitle the cardholders complimentary access to all (such) activities.

This implies that cardholders will be able to participate for free in concerts, fan meetings and other activities held by the organizers and even together with travel agencies that usually come at very high prices.

The organizing team behind the Hallyu Fan Card said that this economical and practical avenue will benefit the future development of Korean pop (Hallyu) culture to external markets.

The Hallyu Fan Card will kickoff with SS501's Concert in Japan on 25th April.

They will also be invited to participate for free Lee Seo Jin's fan meeting in Japan, and Dream Concert in Korea, as well as activities involving SG Wannabe, T-ara and other artistes in June.

Thereafter, there will be a big-scale fan meeting with Cha Tae Hyun at a filming site in Korea, a fan meeting with Jang Hyuk in September and a public performance featuring Park Shin Hye, etc.

The annextele representative further said that they have plans to recruit 50,000 members for the year 2010, based on first-come-first-served basis, and 100,000 members in 2011 and 150,000 members in 2012.

Yahoo Japan will also create a special Hallyu section (online) to introduce Hallyu stars. Recently, they have also signed a contract with the seven-member group, U-Kiss.

[6.54pm] There's around 500 people at standing area now, level seats almost full. Left & Right level 2 not full. All TS has not go in to the concert hall yet. The concert hall is much much bigger than the BKK concert Impact Arena.

There's a lot of TS wearing head gear on their head, like mickey/rabbit head gear, and wear crown. Some wear green colour spectacles. There's TS taking 'CEO Park' placard.

There's no banner at the concert area like other concert.

[7:03pm] Hyung Jun's MBC Game friends has arrived at the concert area and caused the fans to shout. Currently the concert area is very quiet, they didn't play any MV/music but the screen show the Persona Mask screen. It is around 10min to the start of the concert and the area is still very quite empty.

[7:15pm] Screen start to show pan to the audience seats, making the audience very high. The concert is going to start soon! There's a MC there telling the audience that it is going to start soon.

[7.22pm] Music has started !!!! Shouts!!!! In the middle of the stage there's fireworks like metoer. Look very nice! They came out with a different attire, I guess is similar to the press conference attire.

[News][2010.02.27] SS501 conveyed their plans for their new album released

SS501 first day encore concert has just ended. It is so fantastic, there's quite a few songs which were new and the song list is different. The security is so tight, I wonder whether we can get some good pictures after this?

BTW, we have good news after the Encore concert Press conference today. The new album will be released on 1 May! Wow! Another 2 more months to wait!

27일 서울 올림픽공원 내 체조경기장에서 앙코르 공연을 여는 SS501은 공연전 기자간담회를 갖고 새 앨범 계획을 밝혀 눈길을 모았다.

SS501은 새 앨범을 언제 만날 수 있느냐는 질문에 "새 앨범을 준비하려고 하는데 회사와 우리가 이야기한 바로는 '501'의 의미를 살려 5월 1일에 내자고 하고 있다. 정규 2집이 될지, 미니앨범이 될지는 모르겠지만 '501 데이'를 생각하며 5월 1일께 새 앨범을 들려줄 수 있었으면 좋겠다"고 밝혔다.

또 SS501은 이번 아시아 투어를 통해 501이 성장한 면이 있다면 무엇이 있느냐는 질문에 "콘서트를 하며 아시아를 돌다보니 무대에 서는 법과 관객들의 반응을 많이 느끼게 돼 그런 면에서 무대 매너, 노래, 춤이 많이 성장하지 않았나 싶다. 콘서트 하면서 1년이라는 시간이 흘러 한살도 더 먹었고 20대 중반에 들어섰기에 더 성숙한 것도 같다"고 말했다.
