After SM Entertainment announcement of boycotting MAMA, SM related personal revealed their reason for boycott was due to the unfair nomination criterias for MAMA.
In a telephone interview with DSP Entertainment, they expressed that they heard about news that DSP will boycott MAMA, but it was not true. When news about SM announced to boycott MAMA all in a sudden, the boycott activity was spread to DSP and artist under them like SS501, Kara and other.
DSP related personal mentioned that they have not mentioned whether to participate in any boycott activities for MAMA, and they were troubled by the rumours.
According to MAMA official website, SS501 is nominated for 'U R Man' and also 'Boys Over Flower' OST - 'Because I am stupid' and other song.

Hi may i noe wad is boycotting MAMA ?
They're not boycotting, the reason why they (SS501) can't join the event its because of their busy schedule. DSP is now contemplating if they can involve KARA in this event.
