How to login to Mnet + Vote for SS501 + Listen to SS501 Songs

Thanks Ivy & Helen TW for reminding me on the Mnet voting few days ago, I was trying out with it and at last get it working yesterday and was listening to 'Rebirth' album non stop! :P

P/S: I received a lot of feedback regarding this. Maybe I will add on something for you to take note.

1. For registration email, so far I tried using Yahoo & Gmail, both works. But the verification mail sometimes will go to the Spam mailbox. Do check your spam mailbox before clicking the button again.

2. So far the most workable browser is Internet Explorer.

3. For the coupon to work, you would need to wait for a while. I tried to wait for few hours and I can vote without problem.

4. Registration ID: It must be a combination of 6-12 alphabet + number, same for password, (example: UFO501)

Steps to register in Mnet

1. Go to https://newmember.mnet.com/Registration/MbrJoinGate.asp

2. You will be brought to this page. For registration, click on the button which the red arrow points to.


3. If there's some security verification, click 'OK' for both window.

4. After that click on the icon which has a word 'Foreigner', it is in English so it won't be difficult for you.

5. You will be brought to the Agreement page, just 'tick' for all the agreement as shown in the picture. After that, click on the 'Save' button to confirm your selection.

6. This page is english, I don't think I need to explain much.

7. Please note that after typing in your Email, you need to click on the 'Certification' button. A verification email will be sent to your mailbox in around 2 mins.

You would need to key in the verification number in the mail into the 'Authentic No.' column, which is located under the Email column. (Sample of Authentic No. is shown below)

P/S: Please check you spam mail folder for the verification mail. Mine actually went to the spam mail folder!

After keying in the 'Authentic No.', click 'Save'.

8. You will see this page if the Membership process is completed. You can click on the 'Login' icon to login to Mnet.


Free trial voucher (to listen to full album!! ^_^)

(Note: This trial voucher is already expired, you would need to purchase the voucher costing 3000won to vote in MAMA, you do not need to purchase voucher if you only want to participate in voting for the oversea award categories, instructions for purchasing the voucher can be found here)

After login, locate button which is boxed up in the below picture, you will be brought to this page, key in 'JW11227221' in the box, follow by clicking on the 'Red' button to confirm.

By doing this, you will get a free trial period of one month (I am not sure whether it is for this month only or from the date you register up till next month, but at least you get to try out the album for free and legally!)

After keying in the coupon number, this advertisement will pop up. Click on the icon which the red arrow points to close the window.

After keying the coupon, go to the home page, you will see 'Rebirth' album there, click on the Picture of the album, your will be brought to another page, scroll to bottom you will see the picture below.

For voting of the album
1 login ID 1 vote per day (You are allow to register up to 20 login IDs!)

Okay, you see the purple arrow (box up in black box) in the above picture top right hand corner, it is to give good rating to the album! Just click on it.

The box with a thumb icon (with the purple arrow pointing to), it is to give a thumbs up for each song. Just click on each of them. Each login ID can only vote once per day.

After that, click on icon which was boxed up in yellow in the picture, this is to give grading to their album.

After clicking on it, you will be brought to the picture below, follow the instruction on screen.

To stream the songs in the album, click on the orange button to listen all songs.

You might be requested install the AOD player, usually it should be automatically installed, if it doesn't, click on the button to install.

After installation, you will be able to stream all the songs on Mnet (FULL SONG ok!!)

The button which is pointed below is to replay the song list unlimited time. BTW, streaming songs will also help to bring up their ratings! So if you can, keep streaming their songs!

Okay! That's all. Hope you enjoy the songs in the album! They are simply fantastic! Usually for the album of other artist which I purchased, I might not like some of the song, but for 'Rebirth', ALL of the song are very nice!!!! ^_^
