Singer cum actor Kim HyunJoong won the most popular icon award chosen by the viewers in Style Icon Awards.
Kim HyunJoong had the honour of being chosen by the viewers as the most popular icon in ‘2009 Style Icon Awards’ held on 11-Nov at 8pm in Seoul Namsan N Tower.
Kim HyunJoong expressed “It was my first attempt in acting so I am delighted to be selected like this. I will work harder in the future.”
Kim HyunJoong, who is currently engaged in activities as SS501, acted in KBS drama ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and demonstrated that he is able to make it as an actor.
For 6 weeks from 1-Oct, the poll was held through mobile phone voting for 100 over candidates. Over 250,000 votes were made in those 43 days.
Style Icon Awards is in its 2nd year this year, selects the best style icon among those who has a lead in trend and style in various fields such as society, culture, arts for this one year. This ceremony is the first of its kind.
